U.S. and NATO naval forces are moving in to the Black Sea to put pressure on Russia regarding the crisis in Ukraine. Allied forces are hoping that this strong-arm tactic will hopefully cause the Russians to come to peace talks with other major nations. Tensions are still building though, as a bill passed in the house guaranteed a $1 billion loan to Ukraine to help them recover from the tough times. I think that the U.S. is trying to prevent Russia from becoming power hungry, and is not going to stand on the sidelines as it did when Nazi Germany took over Poland without and protest from other countries. The U.S. and NATO may be trying to prevent another World War, set of due to another complicated treaty arrangement between NATO and virtually all of the small, Eastern European nations that surround Russia.
